Fall is fully underway at this point and many people have already put up their fall window decorations. Do you have yours up yet? To pick out the colors, match the ones that are the closest to the colors that you already have in the room, or the color that is your favorite if you have other fall decorations out all ready.If you don’t want to change your curtains, you can always change the tiebacks instead. Changing them to something that has a fall theme to it like leaves, pumpkins, or is in a fall color (that doesn’t clash with your current curtain colors) will still give you a decorated fall window, just on a smaller scale.Fall Window LeavesTastefully placing fall leaves in your window will give you an instant fall window.You can individually string fake, fall leaves to dangle at different levels in your window, giving the illusion of falling leaves, or just drape fall leaf ivy from the top of the window.If you face the issue of your pets thinking that the leaves are toys that just have to be played with, attach your leaves to your window, instead of having them dangle. You can affix individual, fake fall leaves with double-sided tape to the glass, or you can place fall window clings on the glass. The fall clings are by far the easiest, and you have many different leaves and fall scenes to choose from. The attached fall leaves, however, look the most realistic.Fall Window PaintsIf you are one of the lucky ones that has artistic talent, think about painting your decorations on your fall window. Don’t go for the simplistic, finger-painting pumpkins that you see at schools, but instead go for an elegant picture. Images like bare trees with a pile of leaves at their base, fall-colored mums being used as a border around the window, or a harvest moon shining down on a pumpkin patch that has a scarecrow in it.Regardless of what you choose, make sure you use paint that easily comes off your window, or you will be stuck with your beautiful, fall window painting for a long time.
