As an alternative to replacement windows, homeowners are opting for the economical energy-saving benefits of window film. Window film not only reduces energy loss but also rejects UV to help reduce potential fading for furniture and can cut cooling costs up to 50%.LG&E's Home Energy Rebates Program offers up to 50% of material costs to residential owners of qualifying ENERGY STAR appliances, high-efficiency windows and window film.
