  • White paper doilies of all different shapes
  • Double-sided tape

Project:

  • Put tape on one side of the white paper doilies
  • Stick doilies to window making the shape of a Christmas Tree

With just two supplies and two steps you have decorated your large window for Christmas.Window Christmas OrnamentThis project works well for all sizes of windows because you can adjust the size of your Christmas ornament.Supplies:

  • White paper doilies of all different shapes
  • Pieces of colored ribbon
  • Double-sided tape

Project:

  • Put tape on one side of a white paper doily
  • Stick doily to the window
  • Put tape on one side of a piece of colored ribbon
  • Attach ribbon to glass above the ornament, with one of the ends touching the ornament and one end touching the edge of the window.

For larger windows, arrange multiple doilies in the shape of a circle to make a large single ornament.Window SnowflakesDoilies make great snowflakes because they are already lacy; you just have to get them into the shape of a snowflake.Supplies:

  • White paper doilies
  • Scissors
  • Double-sided tape

Project:

  • Fold a doily in half to create a half circle
  • Fold half circle in half
  • Fold doily in half one more time
  • Cut pieces out of new doily shape mostly from the curved side inward to the point. If you do cut along the long edges of the shape, be careful not to cut too much offUnfold the doily and see what unique snowflake you made
  • Place tape on one side of the snowflake and attach to the window

You can arrange the snowflakes to just cover the window or you can also place them in the upper ¾ of the window and spray the bottom of the window with fake snow so that it looks like the snowflakes are falling to the land. You can even take the snowflakes and use them to the make the Christmas tree or Christmas ornament projects above.
